Just How Does Microfiber Cleaning Work....

Microfiber Cleaning-- the wedges in Norwex microfiber scoop up the dirt and grime and store it in the microscopic spaces of the fiber. Moisture from use will cause the outsides of the fiber to expand, locking the soil within the traps. The unlocking release process is activated by washing with soap and water which causes the Norwex microfiber (core) centers to expand which opens the locks and dumps the dirt down the drain.
Yes! It is scientific magic. Re-use over and over; an average Norwex Enviro Cloth will usually last for two-five years of use of daily cleaning and rinsing.

Why is Norwex microfiber a better option for cleaning and the environment?
Norwex microfiber is hundreds of times thinner than a single strand of human hair and many times finer than silk; microfibers are extremely fine compared to that of a cotton strand. Polyester is a lyophillic polymer or has affinity to oil that allows oil to cling directly to the fibers fast. On the other hand, water also easily adheres to microfiber since it is hydrophilic. Microfiber works well in storing dirt and dust at the same time, absorbs up to seven times it weight in liquids, dirt and other debris. Dirt particles cling, and are attracted to the finely wedged shaped fibers of microfiber, where as a cotton towel only pushes dirt and dust from one place or another. Such great characteristics allow Norwex microfiber cloths to quickly remove dirt and leave surfaces completely clean.
Microfiber out performs cotton because they have tremendous durability and can be used and washed hundreds of times.
