Just How Does Microfiber Cleaning Work....

Microfiber Cleaning-- the wedges in Norwex microfiber scoop up the dirt and grime and store it in the microscopic spaces of the fiber. Moisture from use will cause the outsides of the fiber to expand, locking the soil within the traps. The unlocking release process is activated by washing with soap and water which causes the Norwex microfiber (core) centers to expand which opens the locks and dumps the dirt down the drain.
Yes! It is scientific magic. Re-use over and over; an average Norwex Enviro Cloth will usually last for two-five years of use of daily cleaning and rinsing.

Why is Norwex microfiber a better option for cleaning and the environment?
Norwex microfiber is hundreds of times thinner than a single strand of human hair and many times finer than silk; microfibers are extremely fine compared to that of a cotton strand. Polyester is a lyophillic polymer or has affinity to oil that allows oil to cling directly to the fibers fast. On the other hand, water also easily adheres to microfiber since it is hydrophilic. Microfiber works well in storing dirt and dust at the same time, absorbs up to seven times it weight in liquids, dirt and other debris. Dirt particles cling, and are attracted to the finely wedged shaped fibers of microfiber, where as a cotton towel only pushes dirt and dust from one place or another. Such great characteristics allow Norwex microfiber cloths to quickly remove dirt and leave surfaces completely clean.
Microfiber out performs cotton because they have tremendous durability and can be used and washed hundreds of times.

Reach for reusable

Reach for reusable.

One Norwex microfiber cloth can take the place of 60 rolls of paper towels before it needs replacing — and is gentle enough to use on nearly all surfaces.
Keep a few handy for absorbing spills, wiping down counters, de-streaking mirrors, and more. How do you use them everyday?

Replace paper towels and save! We suggest buying a few Norwex microfiber cloths to have on hand in the kitchen to wipe up messes. If you have a few on hand it’s no big deal to just grab another one. Rinse them out at the end of the day, wring them out, and allow them to dry overnight. They are ready for use again until you need to launder them. The energy and CO2 associated with laundering a few reusable microfiber cloths each week as part of your normal laundry is minimal compared with the energy and CO2 associated with manufacturing, transporting, and eliminating disposable paper towels.

Pumice stone

Did you know? The Norwex Foot Stone is a pumice stone that can soften skin. This pumice stone allows you to remove dead skin. With regular use your skin can appear softer. Use on damp skin, lightly rubbing all dry, rough areas of your feet.

Pumicing not only removes calluses and dry patches but can help keep your feet (especially heels) from reaching that state when they're so dry they begin to crack, leading to fissures and other painful medical conditions. Diabetics and those with poor circulation should consult their physician with respect to Foot Stone usage.

Dishwasher Cleaning

Source: Norwex Canada
Empty your dishwasher and take out the dish rack at the bottom. Check the spinning arm and clean out any dirt that may be clogging the holes. Replace the bottom rack.

Pour baking soda in the open soap compartment and vinegar in the soap compartment with the lid. Close the soap compartment, close the dishwasher and run the machine through a regular cycle.

Norwex Jet Dishwasher Detergent. Hard water can leave mineral deposits that cause spotting on glassware so what is the white deposit on dishes? The white deposit is not undissolved detergent it's a film residue caused by the hard-water minerals that remain after the water has evaporated. To prevent try adjusting the amount of detergent and the water temperature. Water hardness plays a role in the amount of detergent that is needed. The optimum temperature 120-140°F. Magnetball softens water.

Which one do you want to wash your clothes with?!

Which one do you want to wash your clothes with?!

The jar on the left & Right is a water mixed with regular laundry detergent: full of fillers like crushed glass & drywall dust: which can clog your machine, pollute the water system & get all over your clothes!

The jar In the Centre is water mixed with Norwex Ultra Power Plus laundry detergent...free & clear of all that unnecessary junk!

I think the choice is pretty 'clear'!

On the left, an organic laundry detergent on the right another popular brand and in the middle - Norwex UPP!

Norwex microfiber bio - part 1 of 4

Norwex Microfiber is 1/200th the size of a human hair and can hold up to seven times its weight in matter. As you lightly wipe the surface, the microfibers attract and draw up even the smallest particles of dust, trapping them in the fibers. Norwex’ Antibac* Microfiber is one of the most innovative products in cleaning! Unlike cotton cloths that will spread the dirt, grease and other particles around, Norwex Microfiber, when used wet, lifts these particles up into the cloth and away from the surface. Once inside the cloth, the micro silver in the cloth goes to work with self purification properties against the mold, fungi and bacterial odor within 24 hours, so that it is ready to use again. All Norwex Microfiber is backed with an exceptional 2 year warranty.
Microfiber care instructions.

To save the environment and reduce the use of detergents, we suggest that slightly dirty cloths and mops be washed, with a little Norwex Dishwashing Liquid, under warm running water and used again before laundering.
• Launder microfiber cloths with other lint-free laundry.
• Only use Norwex Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent or another environmentally friendly detergent without fillers and bleach.
• Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or dryer sheets as these products reduce the microfibers ability to clean effectively.
• Do not use on anti-glare coated surfaces.
